Fresh farm milk is coming to Campbell's of Leyburn

Campbells It will soon be even easier to get your hands on some fresh farm milk in a glass bottle. We are very excited to announce that next month we will be opening a second milk vending machine in Campbell's of Leyburn!

Campbells is a fantastic independent supermarket selling fresh local produce including a butchers, deli and cheese counter plus a HUGE wine and spirit collection upstairs. We can't wait to add Home Farmer fresh milk to that list.

The machine will be at the back of the store, next to the deli counter, and will work exactly the same as our existing machine. Buy a reusable glass bottle (1 litre or ½ litre) and fill it up with delicious, fresh milk. The bottle is then yours to keep and reuse – just wash and sterilise between each refill.

Milk For those who haven’t had chance to try Home Farmer milk before, it’s completely different to ‘supermarket’ milk. The milk is pasteurised slowly in small batches but other than that it’s completely unprocessed. This means the milk arrives in the vending machine in perfect condition and a lovely layer of cream will settle on the top – just like it used to!

Our farm in Aysgarth is only 8 miles from Leyburn so the milk comes with minimal food miles. We are a small family farm and we pride ourselves on our animal welfare. We have around 100 cows, each with their own name (and personality!). You can find out more about the cows that make the milk on our social media, where we share daily updates on life on the farm.

Milk will be priced at £1 for 1 litre or 60p for a 1/2 litre. Glass bottles are £2 for a 1 litre or £1.50 for a 1/2 litre.

Don’t forget - you can already buy Old Roan Wensleydale cheese on the cheese counter in Campbells. Find out more about Campbells here
